Hi Everyone !
So today is really a packing day for me because I have to pack the final things in my suitcase, download my magazines from Itunes and upload the latest True Blood episodes on my Ipad for the trip to France !
I will be away from you for 5 days but I will try to at least post something when I'm there :)
I really can't wait to go tomorrow ! I thought since I will be going with the bus first, not to dress to glamourus.. just jeggins, Vans , Zara mini shopper and a loose pony tail.
I hope to sketch some nice outfits for you there and maybe make a little video f my trip but we shall see ;)
So my appologies for late responses but I will comment back as soon as I get back home or at least across the belgium border :p
Before I come to and end with this post I wanted to share a article from a Brittish store called Very with you for once it's called something to shirt about :)
Something to Shirt About
Trends come and go. But one real skill of styling yourself is learning how to revamp staple pieces so thatthey never look boring. The classic shirt is a perfect example of how easy it is to keep an essential wardrobestaple looking fresh, season after season.
One of our favourite looks this summer is the shirt dress. It’s effortless and super cool – not to mention sexy – and is an easy way to go from a day in the office to night-time glamour.
Simply take off your tights and pull on some sky-high heels and your ready to go.
A belt is a must with a shirt dress to stop it looking frumpy.
If your waist is your best feature, cinch it in or use a belt placedloosely around your hips to give the dress a bit of shape.
If you’re concerned about your middle, invest in an empire line shirt, which will come in just below your bust.
An easy way to avoid splashing out on a new shirt dress is to nab your guy’s shirt.
You could even buy a man’stop, like a G Star shirt, in a size that’s big enough for you to wear it on its own.
Make like a classic American – see Jennifer Aniston for inspiration – and team your crisp, white fitted shirt with skinny dark jeans and heels for a look that’s incredibly chic and smart. It’s the perfect evening combination of sophistication and effortless cool.
For a casual, preppy look, team your shirt with a knitted vest top layered over it. Wear with a skirt, jeans, or even smart trousers for an office outfit.
This look also works with shorts and tights for a layered, smart-casual look.
A shirt can make a great warm weather alternative to the trusty cardigan. We Brits know how difficult it is to predict the weather, so when it’s slightly on the edge of warm, cover your vest top with a loose open shirt for a casual daytime look.
This look works perfectly with a stonewash denim shirt, which is bang on trend for summer 2012.
It also looks great as a beach cover up, if you fancy something less girly and a little sturdier than a kaftan.
